THE CONCEPT

Bold neon pink peacock chairs greet you as soon as you step into Village 36. A subtle sign of what to expect from the vibrant space designed by Sussanne Khan and The Charcoal Project. The natural colours of common SE Asian ingredients like Thai red chillies, green peppers and smoky grey mushrooms played muse for designing the aesthetics of our spacious restaurant and bar.

The outdoors are bright and sunny through the day and warm and cosy in the moonshine. The community table indoors is a popular social spot for co-workers. The exposed brick walls, with awe-inspiring murals of tropical flora and fauna and speckled with colourful art like oars from the boats you see in the backwaters of SE Asia add charm to the refreshing ambience of Village 36.

THE FOOD

If you’ve ever explored the bustling street markets of SE Asian cities like Singapore, Bangkok and Hanoi, you’re bound to vividly recollect the unique sights, aromas and flavours of their exotic street eats. Those unforgettable dishes, in all their glory, are what we serve at Village36. And that’s what makes it one of the best new restaurants in Goa for vegetarians, vegans and non-vegetarians.

The exotic cocktails inspired by SE Asia with twists unique to Village 36 have earned it the reputation of being one of the best bars in Goa as well!

The menu features flavourful hotpots, traditional ramen, juicy salads, noodles made in-house from scratch, BBQs, hot plates and desserts. All this is authentically recreated with recipes and techniques from our head chefs.

Every dish on the menu is labelled with the national flag of its country of origin. So when we ask you to join us on a culinary tour through SE Asia, we aren’t kidding!
